Start Your Pediatric PMHNP Career the Right Way

This position is more than a job — it is a calling. If you want to make a meaningful impact on the pediatric mental health crisis, MindWeal is one of the best places in the country to begin your career as a pediatric advanced practice provider.

Our mission is simple and powerful: to train the next generation of pediatric advanced practice providers who will help meet the growing mental health needs of children and teens. New graduates are central to this mission. We built a highly structured, supportive training environment — including the M-Wise™ Diagnostic Engine — to help you grow with confidence from day one.

Most PMHNP programs provide limited exposure to child and adolescent psychiatry, leaving many new graduates eager for additional mentorship and structured clinical training MindWeal was built to close this gap. Our M-Wise™ Diagnostic Engine (NP Copilot) captures over 1,300 clinically relevant data points and helps you develop the diagnostic reasoning skills used by experienced child psychiatrists—giving you greater clarity and confidence from your very first evaluation.

If you want deep training, real guidance, diagnostic mastery, and an environment where you will never be thrown into the deep end, this role is for you.

Why This Role Is Built Specifically for New Graduates

1️⃣ The MindWeal Training System: Structured Mentorship & Clinical Development

You will receive:

  • A comprehensive two-week onboarding program covering our clinical workflows, documentation standards, technology, and evidence-based approach to pediatric psychiatry.
  • Daily clinical mentorship during your early months with Dr. Rahul Bansal, a board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. Support may include patient-by-patient guidance, case discussions, or dedicated supervision sessions, depending on your learning needs and experience.
  • M-Wise™ NP Copilot, which guides every evaluation by organizing more than 1,300 structured clinical data points and helping you develop diagnostic reasoning—not just complete documentation. Learn more about M-Wise HERE
  • Wellness Scores, which help identify patients who may benefit from additional clinical review, allowing supervising clinicians to provide targeted guidance when it's most valuable. Learn more about Wellness Scores HERE
  • Standardized diagnostic pathways, clinical protocols, medication guidelines, and visit templates that help you make consistent, evidence-based clinical decisions.
  • Weekly formal case reviews and supervision as your clinical independence continues to grow.
  • Real-time access to supervising clinicians whenever questions arise.
  • Clearly defined milestones that guide your progression from beginner to confident, independent pediatric psychiatric provider.

Learn to Think Like a Pediatric Psychiatric Clinician

At MindWeal, we don't simply teach medication management—we teach clinical reasoning.

Using structured mentorship, M-Wise™ decision support, standardized diagnostic pathways, and objective assessment tools, you'll learn to confidently differentiate ADHD, anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and other overlapping pediatric conditions.

Most providers develop a full patient schedule within approximately three months while continuing to receive mentorship and ongoing clinical support throughout their first year.
